Blockwork Dance Studios are located in South Penrith, Western Sydney and offer dance classes in a variety of dance forms to aid in exploring the wonders of dance.

At Blockwork, our goal is to develop each student’s talents by nurturing their individual abilities and building self-confidence and self–esteem, as well as an appreciation for dance, qualities that will benefit our students in every aspect of their lives.

Our team of world-class dance teachers are dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance training in a safe and creative, non-competitive environment.

Blockwork Dance Studios is a registered provider of NSW Active Kids and Creative Kids programs, giving you the opportunity to save $$$ on dance classes.
ERIN BROSNAN
DIRECTOR
Our director, Erin Brosnan, a 4-time Australian National Irish Dancing Champion was a professional dancer for 10 years. Having toured worldwide with shows including the world famous Riverdance, her accolades are astounding.
Alongside her husband and dance partner, she auditioned for Got To Dance UK and was voted in to the Live Semi Finals out of over 3000 acts. Following her success on the show she was contracted to perform on London's West End
for 2 seasons with a new production called Flash Mob, where she performed alongside winners of shows including So You Think You Can Dance, Strictly Come Dancing and America’s Best Dance Crew.
Although Erin specialised in Irish dancing as her professional career, Erin trained in all styles of dance right here in Sydney.
Erin retired from professional dancing to follow her dream of starting her own dance studio so she could pass on the love and passion she has for dance, to her students.
TOM BROSNAN
DIRECTOR
Tom Brosnan, a professional dancer, dance teacher and 5-time World Irish Dancing Champion from Bristol, UK, began his professional career in 2009. Following the 2009 tour, Tom went on to travel to over 30 different countries with 10 different productions, including Riverdance and Celtic Illusion.

Due to his success both as a competitive dancer and as a professional dancer, in 2013, Tom was voted Irish Dancing Magazine’s Man of the Year, a huge accolade in recognition for his remarkable talent and his work as a great ambassador of Irish dance.
​
As well as having over 20 years experience in Irish dancing, Tom studied sports coaching at college and university in the UK and is a qualified soccer, fitness and sports coach.
LUCY WIGGAN
DANCE TEACHER
Lucy has been training and dancing for over 25 years and has trained in all genres of dance. She is a graduate from the McDonald College of Performing Arts and ED5 International full-time.
​
For the past 10 years, Lucy has had the privilege of touring the world with Australia's leading children's entertainment group "The Wiggles" as a Wiggly Dancer. Her time with The Wiggles has seen lucy travel the world and appear in 5 DVD's, Netflix Series and numerous TV productions.
​
As well as working with The Wiggles, Lucy has worked alongside some of Sydney's leading choreographers and appeared in music videos and on stage with music superstars.
​
Throughout her career, Lucy has had the privilege of teaching thousands of students and adults in schools, open adult classes and workshops in various dance styles and is extremely passionate about empowering children and adults through dance.
