Blockwork Dance Studios is a vibrant and supportive dance studio based in Jamisontown/South Penrith offering classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and Acro for children aged 3+. Our classes help build confidence, creativity, and a passion for dance, from pre-schoolers up to advanced dancers.

For your free trial class, just wear some comfy clothing ie shorts/tshirt and some comfy footwear! Upon enrolling with Blockwork, you will receive a free Blockwork t-shirt and bag which you can wear to classes! For dancers who wish to learn ballet, we have a strict ballet uniform policy which includes ballet stockings, leotard and ballet shoes. We have a uniform shop in our reception where you can choose from a range of Blockwork uniform!

When designing our studio, it was a priority to allow parents to watch classes so they can feel comfortable that their little one is safe and happy during their time with us. All of our studios are fitted with viewing windows/glass doors where you are free to watch from. We also have security cameras throughout the studios which are displayed on our reception TV screen where you can watch from!

Unfortunately we don't have any allocated parking spots for parents, so parents must drop their children off at the door/walk them in to the studio! Their is plenty of street parking just outside the complex so you will never have to walk too far!

We offer an exciting range of styles, including , Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical/Contemporary and Irish Dancing. Each class focuses on age-appropriate techniques, creativity, and fun, with options for beginners and experienced dancers alike. Visit OUR CLASSES page for more information.

Our DANCE DANCE DANCE program is playful class for girls and boys aged 3-5 years and introduces dance basics through games and imaginative activities. Absolutely! We offer a free trial class to all new students, so your child can experience the joy of dance first hand. Simply complete our BOOK FREE TRIAL form and we will be in touch to arrange your trial!

Our fees vary depending on the class, but start from as little as $11. Visit OUR CLASSES for more information! Dance fees are paid on a termly basis, however we can arrange flexible payment options to suit your needs.

There is an annual $35 registration fee to cover the admin fees for your year of dance at Blockwork!

YES! There is plenty of options for your child to perform and compete throughout the year including our mini-concert, community perfomances, eisteddfods and Irish dancing competitions!

Not at all! Competitions and performances are optional and open to those who are interested in pushing their skills to the next level!
